Reeltime Audio is Denton’s premier full service recording studio since 1991. Located just 30 miles north of the DFW Metroplex, Reeltime Audio offers all the metropolitan luxuries without the metropolitan costs. Here, we work on projects of every size. From quick demo tapes to full length mastered albums, Reeltime has what you need to get the job done. Brainchild of producer Eric Delegard, Reeltime is the creative space in which Grammy winning albums such as Brave Combo’s “Let’s Kiss” and “Polkasonic,” as well as pivotal releases such as Cross Canadian Ragweed’s “Purple,” were scratched into music history. A constantly evolving studio, Reeltime has a beautifully designed recording room with bamboo floors and excellent acoustics. In 2007 the control room went through a complete rebuild with a design by the brilliant acoustical architect, Bob Suffolk. The SSL 4056 analog mixing board comes to us from Nashville’s Sound Stage Studios where it has a lineage of hits and gold records, and is equipped with Total Recall so that any mix can be recalled and “tweeked” in the future. The warmth of analog or the precision of digital? You can decide whether to cut to 2” analog tape or many of the most popular digital platforms such as Pro Tools, Cubase or Nuendo. We understand that not every musician works the same way.  It is for this reason we have installed a custom headphone system so that each individual can dial in their own perfect mix.
